Sex Drive and The Beatles: Highlights of the Zodchie Band Frontman's Celebration

The fifth meeting of the Zodchie band’s VIP Club has been held in Alazani restaurant on January 27, 2021. The evening was dedicated to the birthday of the club's president, the leader of the Zodchie band Yuri Davydov. The group’s adherents and friends of its frontman, including the leading Russian politicians and businessmen, sportsmen, musicians, and journalists, gathered to celebrate in the pleasant soulful atmosphere.

Remarkably Yuri Davydov was born on Global Beatles Day, which has a great reflection not only on his creative work but also on the birthday gift from InterMedia Communications - the company CEO Eugene Safronov granted the Zodchie band frontman with symbolic accessories set worthy of a true Beatles fan - soccer uniform and a guitar strap, both adorned with The Beatles members’ portraits.

During the traditional newcomers greeting ceremony the club’s president Yuri Davydov entrusted musicians and composers Sergey Minaev and Alexander Shevchenko as well as chief medical officers Sergey Arakelov and Georgy Melkonyan with honorary certificates.

The showtime was amazingly miscellaneous and vivid: Shoo as the warm-up band, Sergey Minaev, Romario, and Alexander Shevchenko with their pop and jazz classics, lead singers of Moscow State Academic Operetta Theater Ivan Vikulov and Pavel Ivanov with incredible vocals.

The second part of the concert was held by the Zodchie band lead by Yury Davydov. The audience was thrilled with well-known hits as well as the brand new songs The Dark Guinness Book, I Want You!, January 1, Moscow Foxtrot, Sex Drive, etc.

“It is an excitement for me to come up on stage after such a sparkling performance. Our entire collective sends their regards.”, the leader of Samotsvety ensemble Georgy Vlasenko said after joining Zodchie on the scene.

The climactic note was the iconic Beatles’ song, Hey Jude performed jointly by all the participants of the festive show.
